Just finished watching My sister’s keeper. I loved the book so much and of course movies never quite match up to the written word, but never the less we enjoyed it. There were quite a few sniffles going on in the room. Hectic stuff, especially when you have kids.
Nina went to bed early and so was due a bottle around 9.30pm. I took it to her and spent a little extra time cuddling her. I dismissed the normal “don’t play with them at night” rule and when she gave me a naughty grin, I grinned back, making her giggle. Priceless.
Children are such precious jewels.
I am so very grateful for them.

I watched it the other day and cried and cried. Sure makes you appreciate what you have. That was my first ever Jodi Picoult novel, she really gives you a lot to think about in her books. What a movie.
Glad you are all well and enjoying the beautiful South African summer. What cocktail are you making for your party?
Thanks for the lovely pics. Please give your family my love.

A good cry is always good to clean out ones spirit. But I rather like giggles more – laughter is alway good for the soul. Your two babies are jewels indeed I don’t know what the great-aunts would do without them. Seeing Addy on Skype fills me with love but on saying goodbye to her and Andre especially at this time of year fills my eys with unshed tears. Love you soooooo much.
