Monitor madness

by Caroline on April 5, 2009

Ok, so I spoke too soon. Nina’s monitor went off a couple of times again last night. This is so stressful and annoying! Also, we have discovered we pick up the signal from someone else’s baby monitor in the complex. One could actually eavesdrop on conversations this way! Fortunately we have placed a clock next to our monitor, so the constant ticking lets us know that a) the monitor is on and working and b) that we are picking up the correct baby!

Geez sometimes I wonder if these moniters are more trouble than they are worth. you guys must nearly have a heart attack every time. would not mind eavesdropping though …

Good to find you again and I do like the new name – it suits you. I think your mum will agree, when you babysit your grandchildren you listen for their breathing all the time but for my part when our children were babies it didn’t occur to me that they might stop breathing.
Your girls are so lovely, I can imagine the heads that’ll be turning when your’s and Ronnies are teenagers – assuming their dads let them out of the house!
