Inspirational words

Has anyone read ‘The monk who sold his Ferrari” by Robin S. Sharma? I found a really good quote from it in a magazine and have researched some more of his quotes on the web. One or two of the quotes I found, I actually recognize so I am not sure if a bit of plagiarism was involved here or if the correct references were simply not provided on the sites I found, but do appear in the book. Anyway the book itself does sound good and I wandered if anyone had an opinion they could share?
I have also decided to post a quote a day for a few days. I am taking the ones that impacted me or that epitomize what I believe in or how I strive to live my life. I hope they will strike a note for you as well. I was going to place them all up at once, but sometimes with that the impact is lost. So, one quote a day from ‘The monk who sold his Ferrari”. Here is the first one:

“Life is no brief candle for me.
It’s a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for a moment,
and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible
before handing it on to the future generations.”
